Insurance

Michael Brustein, PsyD. does not participate with any insurance plans, however he takes out-of-network benefits, meaning patients can use their health insurance plan at the practice even if it’s not listed as a provider within their network. This expands patients’ options for accessing mental health care, while also increasing the affordability of services.

A receipt (superbill) will be provided that you can then submit to your insurance company to get out-of-network reimbursement.

We are equipped to check your plan for available out-of-network benefits. This ensures patients have a clearer understanding of their coverage and financial liabilities. The clinic focuses on making the accessibility of care stress-free and straightforward.

As an out-of-network provider, We have partnered with Mentaya to help our clients save money on our mental health services. Use this tool below to see if you qualify for reimbursement.

“I have extensive clinical training and experience treating diverse issues. My greatest teachers however, have been my client’s who have had the courage to share their personal stories and intimate aspects of their lives. I strive to create a safe environment where client’s can feel open to express their thoughts and feelings. Although in many ways I agree with Harrry Stack Sullivan, who suggests we are more similar than different, I also believe differences do exist and that everyone is unique. Consequently, I adapt my approach while helping my clients achieve balance, stability and growth.”
