Anxiety and Worry:
If you experience anxiety/chronic worry about life events (work, health, relationships etc), this can make you feel extremely uneasy, edgy and hamper your concentration. You may find that you are prone to assume the worst or catastrophise. People who worry chronically often find that even when they get relief from one issue another one spouts up. Other people conversely may worry about the same issue over and over.
This type of anxiety described is often referred to as generalized anxiety disorder.
I utilize evidenced based cognitive behavior therapy techniques and mindfulness and teach people how they can self soothe and feel more balanced. I also find that helping people understand the function and root causes of their anxiety, relational consequences beneficial.
